We purchased Ponderosa #9 several years ago as a mountain "escape". We love Colorado!
Winter Park is a lovely little town, about a 45 minute drive from Denver (add 30 minutes to get out of the airport). The town is not as commercial as some of the other mountain resorts, and we like that... although, a few more good restaurants wouldn't hurt! Winter Park has awesome downhill skiing, and lots of other fun activities around the area. Rocky Mountain National Park is only about 30 minutes away. We could spend every summer hiking in the park and not see it all! All and all, we are enjoying spending time in the Rocky Mountains and hope you enjoy reading some of our family adventures.
